Update: 7/06/10
Lawson's Landing is on the agenda for the
CA Coastal Commission to visit on the morning of Thursday July 8th per
the CCC’s website:http://www.coastal.ca.gov/mtgcurr.html. Public comment will begin at 9:00 a.m. and
will also happen when the Commission returns from their field
trip. The location of the meeting is:
Sonoma County
Board of Supervisors Chambers
575 Administration Drive
Santa Rosa, CA 95403
(415) 407-3211
IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO A
LATER, MORE DISTANT MEETING, PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING – YOUR PRESENCE
WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The California Coastal Commission was founded on the
premise of affordable coastal access for the general public. The public needs
to be front and center to have their voices heard and their numbers counted so
the CCC will understand how important this campground and day use area is to
the recreational community.
Now is the time to take
action - to stand up and be counted.
Plan
On Attending
Public support for Lawson's Landing at the California
Coastal Commission meetings is very important. If you want Lawson's Landing to
remain as an affordable alternative to state and county run campgrounds, please
attend, stand up and be counted!! Believe that your presence can make a
difference. This is a great opportunity for you to join a group of like minded
individuals that are all committed to the same goal, the continued and mostly
unchanged use of Lawson's Landing campground as an affordable alternative for
camping on theNorthern California coast.
